Do you know where snow comes from? We watched this video to find out.
Emma: The water droplets form together and it gets so cold up there that it freezes and becomes snow. It's like rain, but it's when it is really cold up there.
Shotaro: And rain starts with evaporation. When it gets hot out, the water evaporates.
Lucy: And the gas travels up to the clouds.
Griff: But then the higher up it goes, it gets colder, and then there's condensation.
Frankie: Which means it goes back to liquid so it rains.
Emma: Only when it's like a cold place and it's a cold time, then it freezes instead and turns to snow.
